Shannon Peters Schear is an experienced and talented criminal defense attorney known for her proactive, compassionate, and thorough approach to legal representation. As the founder of her own law firm, she focuses on criminal defense, civil traffic defense, and employment law, representing clients in various administrative proceedings before state and local agencies.

Originally from Chicago, Shannon earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, before obtaining her Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School in 2007. Since relocating to Arizona, she has become a dedicated advocate both inside and outside the courtroom.

Beyond her legal career, Shannon is passionate about serving and giving back to the community. As a board member of Lighthouse For Hope, she is deeply committed to supporting families facing childhood cancer by helping raise critical funds and awareness. She believes that no family should have to navigate a cancer diagnosis alone and works tirelessly to provide hope and relief.

Shannon is also an active volunteer with animal rescue organizations and advocacy groups. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, playing with her dogs, practicing Bikram yoga, cooking, and singing karaoke.
